♥ Christ is Risen ♥

God sent down to earth His only beloved Son
So that one day our souls could be won

He came down to earth as man to show us the way
He preached in temples and on hill sides, teaching us how to pray

When His work was done He knew the cost
That He was destined to die cruelly on the cross

With Mary, His Mother, at His feet
Pierced to the heart, she could but weep

But on the third day He did rise again
And with His rising a new message He did send

That never again from us would He depart,
That’s why on Easter Morning we pray
Hallelujah, Christ is Risen today!

Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!
